By choosing different station types, meeting demand at each location, and making use of advanced tech you can build an automated empire Automation is a simulation game that lets you build an auto empire by automating different parts of your company. You start with just one station in your garage but by increasing production levels and investing in specialized machinery, you can quickly increase demand at each location to rake in profits. By using advanced tech in your stations you can also build customized stations that specialize in different aspects of vehicle production. These specialized stations create more profit while also increasing productivity. With Automation, you'll be able to view your whole company on a single screen. From the main menu, select Production and your whole auto empire will drop down on the screen. This allows you to check production levels at each location, see what's happening at each station, receive automated reports about what is going on at all of your factories, and watch live action video from all over the world about what's happening across the entire auto industry. By investing in advanced tech, you can also build custom station to automate different tasks. These stations help improve productivity and increase profits while also keeping your company at the leading edge of automation technology. For example, you can use the EDD III (Electronic Diagnostics III) station to automatically check vehicle health before each vehicle leaves your factory. This will increase quality control while also reducing manpower costs involved with manual inspections. The Port III station allows you to easily move vehicles between ports for repairs or upgrades once they've arrived at their destination. It speeds up repairs while also increasing productivity by reducing downtime for each vehicle. There are 12 different types of automation stations depending on what they automate. The game's controls are as simple as clicking on a station and adding the type of automation you need. Automation allows you to customize stations to meet demand at each location. This is accomplished by using the pie menus available on each station to increase output by increasing truck capacity or increasing refined product capacity for your refineries. You can also customize trucks by changing the speed and type of drivetrain used with each individual vehicle. Each custom vehicle will only be able to fit into a limited number of stations so choose carefully if you want them all to fit in your fleet at once. You can build custom stations that are specialized in different areas of vehicle production. By being specialized, these stations can create more profit while also increasing productivity.There are 12 station types to choose from which specialize in different areas of car production including: engine, drivetrain, chassis, suspension, interior, exterior, fuel & energy storage systems, energy storage systems for charging stations, power sources for electric vehicles, alternative fuels for flex-fuel vehicles, and aerodynamics.
